About

The Friends of St. Amand’s is a charitable body, set up by a group of past parents, former staff and governors to provide long term support for St. Amand's school. We do this through fundraising, community building and promoting the school's wonderful heritage.

St. Amand's Catholic Primary School was founded in 1860, on land provided by C. J. Eyston. The school outgrew the orignal building and the current site was officially opened on the 5th May 1963 by Archbishop King.

Mission

We exist to support and sustain St. Amand’s Catholic Primary School in East Hendred — a school rooted in centuries of Catholic heritage and dedicated to nurturing every child in the love of Christ.
