About
The Friends of St Amand’s exists to support and sustain St. Amand’s Catholic Primary School in East Hendred — a school rooted in centuries of Catholic heritage and dedicated to nurturing every child in the love of Christ.

St. Amand's Catholic Primary School was founded in 1860, on land provided by C. J. Eyston. The school outgrew the orignal building and the current site was officially opened on 5th May 1963 by Archbishop King.
Our Mission
At Friends of St Amand’s, our mission is to foster a nurturing environment where every child is empowered to grow academically, spiritually, and socially, guided by the principles of Catholic education and the teachings of Christ.

Our Vision
Our vision is to ensure that St Amand’s Catholic Primary School continues to thrive as a center of excellence, providing holistic education and instilling values that prepare our students to become compassionate, resilient, and responsible members of society.
